If I told you that Square, the company who owns all of its' fame to Final Fantasy (with characteristically slow gameplay and the fact that they've always paid far more attention to the plotlines and looks of the games rather than how they actually play) developed one of the most unique shoot em ups to ever exist... would you believe me?
Perhaps you could, perhaps you could not. But it's real.
Einhänder SHINES in just about every thing you could ask a shmup for.
It's got a big number of weapons (around 10) and depending on how you equip them, they work differently!
It's got one of the best camera works I've seen in any kind of game, ever.
It looks pretty damn cool.
The bosses are TRULY DAMN BIG, challenging, inspired and long-lasting, providing LOTS of fun.
It's got a nice plotline.
And I could go on and on and on. Seriously this is up there with Radiant Silvergun in terms of fun and replay value.
And for that, Square, I take my hat off. If only there could be a sequel...
